This last portion of comp was a much better learning experience for me. I felt like actually doing the work as I was writing about something that is prevalent on my mind and I like government. I hope to be a big lawyer at some point and this was a good way to spark my interest. Although i didn't spend too much time and effort as I should and would have liked to. There is just too much other stuff I am doing. Watching fight club to start the lesson was also a nice change of pace. interpreting the issues it was talking about in the government i thought was a good way to get me thinking early. Creating a research log p2also helped a lot to get my brain going. It was also helpful to get some sources and info early and learning how to get these sources from reputable sources proved to be a lot better than google. Writing the Biography a congress member proved to be challenging with my issue as it is an idea spread throughout being worked on by many and has been an ongoing issue for a long time. I also thought the biography was not that much of a leaning curve as i was writing about an issue not congress. Outline p2as a low point for me. writing stuff like that for some reason isn't easy for me. It's easier for me to start directly on Rough Draft p2and work my up. I write better when ideas are fresh and not layed out. When they are not layed out I can write with freedom the way I want. Then creating Rough Draft edit p2 then using that to create draft after draft I would rather use one paper and edit that one over and over instead of creating more drafts. My experience in seminar this portion of the year was also much better. There was a little more involvement and my test grade wen from a 74 on the first to 96 on the second. going to the library to learn about the tricks to finding the best facts and stats also helped. overall i feel my paper will be better this time but still not what is could be. If i had to guess i would say 75.
