reflective letter p1

So far this semester has been good. taking four more hours compared to last semester hasn't been near as hard as I thought. It laso helps that all my classes for the most part are about the same as last semester and about the same times. Being able to start the year off in a fun way with the Gasoline video makes it easier to come to class and learn. Although I absolutley do not like how we have to ge into groups to discuss. I am not a groupwork person, so for m to have to get in groups almost every class in seminar and comp is frusterating. I am a hands on learning kind of person not a group discussion person. When your in a group you dont learn everything for yourself. I see it somewhat as being babied. When we did the alice cooper video and did the questions I wanted to put my answers and learn from what I was doing I had to leave out some of what I wanted to include my groups members. I find it easier when I work alone. I also would rather focus more about the political science class in seminar then comp. Having to find song lyrics and video is a great example of what im talking about. So far this semester seminar and comp are working wel  together but there is hardly any thing to do with political science. Although is was an easy grade in seminar doing the song presentation. After going over portfolio two in class it just reinforced my point some more. There is nothing we are doing that literally coops with political science except for the theme. There is also no point in writing a draft one, a edited draft, a Draft 2, a Draft 2 edit, and a Final Draft. There just needs to be a rough draft that gets edited into a final draft. Last thing I have to say is why are conferences online. I am paying to be in class not download ridiculous programs to talk when im in class for two days week. I understand it's lazy to cancel class but you dont have to. Have the students work on their papers or research while you walk around to each student and talk to them for five minutes.

So you are not seeing a political science theme when we discuss ideologies, review for the exam, and discuss issues, like freedom in society? I am sorry you are not seeing the relevance and we will start becoming more clear on the connections.

Participating in class is a major aid in making connections between the courses. IF one sits facing the wall, and is not focusing on the matierial at hand it would be hard to make connections with the matierial being presented in all three classes. It would also help getting to class on time on a regular basis. If you have concerns about the class that is exactly what the conference is designed for; your reflective letter is designed to demonstrate what YOU have learned not a rant session. Please review how to write a reflective piece.
